At Peninsula Boxing & Fitness we have a two pronged approach to working with youth and youth at risk, and that is to not only provide them a safe haven in which to participate in a well disciplined boxing program that develops character, builds confidence, and promotes a healthy and active lifestyle, but we also strive to point out that the physical aspects of our program go hand in hand with stimulating one’s mental capacity, enhancing each student’s ability to learn. A healthy body leads to a healthy mind.

Our goal here is to assist in the learning process, and help to cultivate a love of learning, so that each participant can come to realize the correlation between various thought processes and the physical action or reaction necessary to them. This we do in an effort to develop traits or characteristics that will help each student reach his or her full potential, make better decisions in life, and contribute towards their communities in a positive manner.
